Account & Registration
Tap Create Account and enter your name, email, and a password. You can also sign up with your Google account for a faster setup. After registering, you'll receive a verification code to confirm your email.
A phone number is not currently required to create an account. You only need a valid email address. In the future, phone verification may be added as an option for extra account security.
Check your spam or junk folder first — the email comes from [email protected]. If it's not there, go back to the verification page and tap "Resend code." Codes expire after 30 minutes, so request a fresh one if yours has timed out. If you're still stuck, contact us and we'll verify your account manually.
No. If you're already a WorkCampConnect member, your account is recognized automatically when you visit the marketplace. You'll be logged in seamlessly — no separate registration needed.
Go to Account Settings and update your name, display name, or other profile details. Changes take effect immediately across the marketplace.
In Account Settings, click on your current avatar or the camera icon to upload a new photo. Square images work best. Your photo appears on your listings and messages.
To delete your account, go to Account Settings and scroll to the bottom where you'll find the account deletion option. This permanently removes your profile, listings, messages, and reviews. This action cannot be undone. If you just want a break, consider logging out instead.
No. Each person is allowed one account on WorkCamp Market. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits or bans is a violation of our Terms of Service and may result in all accounts being permanently suspended.
Login & Password
Go to the Log In page and enter your email and password. You can also tap "Continue with Google" to sign in with your Google account.
On the Log In page, tap "Forgot password?" and enter your email address. You'll receive a link to set a new password. The link expires after 1 hour, so use it promptly.
Check your spam or junk folder. The email comes from [email protected]. If you use Gmail, also check the Promotions or Updates tabs. If nothing arrives after a few minutes, try requesting a new reset link. Still stuck? Contact us for help.
Yes. If you're a WorkCampConnect member, you're automatically recognized when you visit the marketplace — no separate login required. Just make sure you're logged into your WorkCampConnect account in the same browser.
Accounts can be locked for violating our Terms of Service, receiving multiple reports, or suspicious activity. If you believe this is a mistake, contact us with your account email and we'll review your case.
Listings & Selling
Tap + Sell Item in the navigation bar. Pick a category, fill in the details (title, description, price, condition, location), add photos, and publish. Your listing goes live immediately and stays active for 60 days.
Yes. You get 2 free listings per day. If you need more, additional listings cost $0.99 each, or you can grab a 48-hour unlimited day pass for $4.99 using wallet credits.

When creating or editing a listing, use the photo section to drag-and-drop or tap to upload images. You can reorder photos by dragging them, and delete any photo by clicking the X. The first photo becomes your listing's cover image.
From your Dashboard or the listing page itself, tap the three-dot menu (\u22ee). Edit lets you change details and photos. Archive hides it from buyers but keeps all your data. Delete Permanently is only available on archived or draft listings and removes everything forever. Sold listings cannot be archived or deleted to protect reviews and transaction history.
Archiving hides your listing from search results and buyers, but your photos, description, and conversation history are all preserved. Find archived listings in the "Archived" tab of your Dashboard. To bring one back, tap the three-dot menu and choose "Unarchive" — it goes active again with a fresh 60-day timer.
After 60 days, your listing is automatically archived. You'll get one free relist. After that, relisting costs $2.99 in wallet credits.

When creating a listing, tap "Generate with AI" to automatically create a title and description based on the details you've entered. You can pick from different tones, edit the result, or regenerate until you're happy with it. It's free to use and completely optional.
Use clear, well-lit photos (the first photo is your cover). Write an honest, detailed description including condition, measurements, and any flaws. Set a fair price — check similar listings for reference. Respond to messages quickly. Consider a Featured Listing boost for extra visibility.
Buying & Searching
Use the search bar at the top of the homepage to type keywords. You can also browse by category or use the location filter to find items near you.
On the search results page, use the filter bar to narrow by category, price range, condition, distance, and more. Filters update results instantly.
After running a search, tap "Save this search" to save your keywords and filters. You'll get email alerts when new listings match your saved criteria. Manage your saved searches from your Dashboard.
Tap the heart icon on any listing card or listing detail page to save it to your Favorites. You'll need to be logged in. Access all your saved favorites from the Favorites page in your account.
On any listing page, tap "Contact Seller" to send a message. You'll need a free account to message sellers. All conversations stay on the platform in your Messages inbox for safety.
On listings where the seller has enabled offers, you can submit a dollar amount you're willing to pay. The seller can accept, decline, or counter your offer. Offers expire after 48 hours if the seller doesn't respond.
Messaging & Offers
When you tap "Contact Seller" on a listing, a conversation is created between you and the seller about that specific item. All messages stay on the platform in your Messages inbox. You'll receive email notifications for new messages.
You can, but we recommend keeping conversations on the platform where possible. On-platform messages create a record that helps resolve disputes and protects both parties. If you do share contact info, follow our safety tips.
When you make an offer, the seller gets three options: accept, decline, or counter with a different price. If they counter, you can then accept, decline, or counter back. This goes back and forth until someone accepts or an offer expires.
Offers expire after 48 hours if the other party doesn't respond. When an offer expires, it's automatically declined and you're free to make a new offer or move on. You'll get an email notification when an offer expires.
Check your Account Settings to make sure email notifications are turned on. Also check your spam folder — notifications come from [email protected]. If notifications are on but still not arriving, contact us.
Wallet & Payments
Your Wallet holds credits you can spend on boosts, extra listings, day passes, and relists. Credits are purchased in advance and deducted when you use a paid feature. Your balance is always visible in your account.
Go to your Wallet page and choose a top-up amount: $10, $25, $50, or $100. Larger deposits come with bonus credits. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider.
Wallet credits are non-refundable once purchased. They never expire, so there's no rush to use them. If you believe there's been an error with a charge, contact us and we'll investigate.
Credits can be used for: Featured Listing boosts (Highlighted, Featured, or Spotlight tiers), extra listings beyond your daily free limit, 48-hour unlimited day passes, and relisting expired listings. See your Wallet for current pricing.
Featured Listings give your item more visibility. There are three tiers: Highlighted ($4.99) adds a gold border to your listing. Featured ($9.99) pins it to the top of search results. Spotlight ($19.99) adds homepage placement and social media promotion. All boosts are purchased with wallet credits.
After your 2 free daily listings, each additional listing costs $0.99. A day pass ($4.99) gives you unlimited listings for 48 hours. A paid relist ($2.99) reactivates an expired listing after you've used your one free relist. All are paid with wallet credits.
Reviews & Trust
Only buyers who had a message conversation with the seller about a specific listing can leave a review for that transaction. This prevents fake reviews from people who never interacted with the seller. Reviews must be submitted within 21 days of the listing being marked sold.
Yes. As a seller, you can post one public response to any review you receive. Your response appears directly below the review on your profile. Keep responses professional and factual.
Once submitted, reviews cannot be edited by the reviewer. Reviews are only removed if they violate our Terms of Service (e.g., personal attacks, false information, spam). If you believe a review is abusive, report it using the flag icon and our team will review it.
Safety & Scams
Meet in a public, well-lit place during daylight hours. Bring a friend if possible. Tell someone where you're going. Inspect the item before paying. Trust your instincts — if something feels off, walk away. Read our full Safety Tips guide for more advice.
Watch out for: prices that seem too good to be true, pressure to pay before seeing the item, requests to move the conversation off-platform, wire transfer or gift card payment requests, "shipping" offers for local-pickup items, and sellers who refuse to meet in person. Read our Safety Tips for the full list.
For in-person transactions, cash is safest. Avoid wire transfers, gift cards, money orders, and cryptocurrency — these are nearly impossible to recover if you're scammed. If using a digital payment app, only send money after you've inspected the item in person. See our Safety Tips for details.
Tap the "Report" button on any listing page or user profile. Select a reason and add any details that will help our team investigate. All reports are confidential — the reported user will not know who filed the report.
Our team reviews every report, typically within 1 business day. If the listing or user violates our Terms of Service, we'll take action — which may include removing the listing, issuing a warning, or suspending the account. We'll notify you by email if we need more information.
New listings are automatically screened by our AI system for prohibited items, misleading content, and potential scams. Flagged listings are held for human review before going live. This helps keep the marketplace safe, but we also rely on the community — if you see something wrong, please report it.
Rules & Policies
We don't allow weapons, drugs, alcohol, tobacco, stolen goods, counterfeit items, hazardous materials, animals, or anything illegal. We also prohibit services, job postings, and real estate listings — this marketplace is for physical goods only. See our full Prohibited Items list for details.
Depending on the severity, you may receive a warning, have the listing removed, or have your account suspended. Repeated violations lead to a permanent ban. Serious violations (fraud, illegal items) may result in an immediate ban without warning.
Minor violations earn strikes on your account. 1 strike: written warning. 2 strikes: 7-day suspension (you can't post or message). 3 strikes: permanent account ban. Strikes reset after 6 months of good standing. Severe violations skip the strike system entirely.
No. WorkCamp Market is a platform that connects buyers and sellers — we are not a party to any transaction and do not mediate disputes over pricing, item condition, or meetup arrangements. We strongly encourage following our Safety Tips, inspecting items before paying, and using safe payment methods. If a user violates our Terms of Service, report them and we'll take action on the account.

Advertising
Visit our Advertiser Portal to create an ad account. Upload your ad creative, choose your targeting (categories, locations), pick a plan, and launch. Ads appear alongside listings throughout the marketplace.
We offer multiple ad tiers based on placement and visibility. Visit the Advertiser Portal for current pricing and tier details. All plans are billed monthly.
Your advertiser dashboard shows impressions, clicks, click-through rate, and spend for each campaign. Log in to the Advertiser Portal to view your analytics.
Log in to the Advertiser Portal and go to your account settings to cancel. Your ads will continue running through the end of your current billing period. If you need help, contact us.
